My situation is next:
I arrived in USA via J-1 visa (work and travel) more then 2 month ago, im 22 y.o.
I met guy in Chicago, he is american 21 y.o. We have been living together 1.5 months and falled in love together. Now we moved to San Francisco.
Since my visa will expired October 1, we made a plan to get marred. So we applyed to marrige liscense. It's gonna be September 11....hm not a good day for America...
We are both trying to find a job at this moment and save some money for appartments and applications fee for a green card process...so we stayed in a shelter for young kids like us 18-24 y.o. We already open joint account.
What do u think if we put this shelter address at applications for marrige sertificat? Will we be in trouble because of low incomes? We can't aspect a finansial support from his family - his mom is drug and alcogolic person (he doesnt conntact with her a lot of years), his dad and he in very bad relationships. HIs father put him in a jail, when he was 16...so....
any chance that this marrage gonna work? We can't efford lawyer anyway.
Any tips? Please help!
