16 Janvarya sdal otpechatki. Nedavno proveril case status online, a tam napisano:

On January 28, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 App to register Permanent Residance or to Adjast of Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when decision is made.

S'ezdite v vash otdel BCIS/INS i sprosite u nih (infopass na veb saite voz'mite). Oni vse skajut.

Background check vmeste s elektronnymi otpechatkami palcev delaetsya za menshe chem nedelu U menya VSE bylo prodelano za 3 nedeli.

Ya ne dumay chto oni mogut chto libo reshit na meste potomu chto delo nahoditsya v state MO, vo vsyakom sluchae posmo notice of action prishlo ot tuda, a moi lokal BCIS v NC, no vseravno spasibo za sovet vozmu vse doki s soboi.

я подал документы в INS через юриста. юрист утверждает что документы отослал 29 марта, и приложеные чеки были обналичены 31 марта в Сан Франциско INS. Юрист говорит что не получил утверждение о получении документов (notice of action) от INS.



Как я могу узнать отправил ли он или нет и почему такая задежка с INS?

Moi notice oa auction prishel cherez dve nedeli, prichin zaderjki mojet bit mnogo,poprobuyte svyazatsya s INS hotay mne eto malo chto dalo. Shodil ya v INS, komu interesno, odna vrednay tetka posmotrela v svoi com i skazala chto delo rasmatrivaetsya , kak zakonchat tak i pozovut na interviu i vse,bolshe nichego govorit nehotela. Kak ludi uznayt pro FBI check i. t.d.

I have called INS and they looked up my name in their database with no results. I went to my lawyer and saw INS's mail receipt (green box card with a dated stamp) with receive date March 31.



At this point, I have to wait for my lawyer to contact his bank to check if attached checks have been cleared. If yes, where? Is it San Francisco or Chicago.



Whenever INS clears the check, they assign case number at the same time. SO, if check has been cleared, then there is a case number. If not, then, where the hell is my paperwork?



As I heard recently, all INS local district offices are supposed to mail adjustment of status cases to one of the national "distribution" centers starting April 1. San Francisco has to mail to Chicago. I assume they mailed it to Chicago. That's the only reasonable explanation I can come up with.



But then, San Francisco district office received my documents on March 31. That means they have to process it in SF, not in Chicago.



If they are to process in SF, where is the "notice of action"?



How do I make my lawyer to move his butt and find out where are my documents?

if the checks are cached, you will find your case number on the back of the checks.



Even if you filed your papers with SF office, they may have forwarded it to Chicago or MBC anyway for preprocessing.
