С 1 января 2013 траки 2000-2004 годов выпуска, выше 26000 lbs. gross vehicle weight, не оборудованные PM фильтром, запрещены на территории Калифорнии. Траки до 2000 года выпуска были запрещены с 1 января 2012 года. Штраф от $300 в день за каждый день пребывания на территории штата за каждый трак. Исключение сделано для флитов с кол-вом траков до 3, которые зарегистрировались для отсрочки заблаговременно.

Кроме того, для вэнов и риферов:
- Owners of fleets with 20 or fewer affected trailers must register if they want to use a compliance option that will allow them up to four additional years to participate in the Small Fleet Compliance Plan.
- Low-rolling resistance tires are required for 2010 model year and older tractors that pull 53 foot-long box-type trailers.
- SmartWay aerodynamic requirements must be met by all 53-foot or longer box-type trailers not using a phase-in option.

Truckers take note: Roadcheck 2013, the annual safety blitz that checks tractor-trailer equipment, driver logs and other safety aspects of truck drivers’ operations, will take place June 4-6, according to the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s (CVSA) calendar.

Truckers take note: new HOS rule begins Monday; restart, break different
Commercial vehicle drivers will find two things different Monday. They will be able to take a 34-hour restart only once every 168 hours and the restart must include two 1 a.m.-to-5 a.m. periods.
They will also have to take a 30-minute break no more than eight hours after going on duty.
That break must be shown as off-duty.
A veteran commercial vehicle enforcement officer offered words of warning to drivers who might take a 34-hour restart this weekend.
“Let’s say a driver gets home Saturday at 3 p.m.,” the officer said. “He won’t be legal to go back on the road until 5 a.m. Monday because the new rule will be effective one second after midnight Sunday, even though he would have been off 34 hours at 1 a.m. Monday.”
Therefore, the officer said, the new 168-hour period will have begun no earlier than 7 p.m. Saturday.

Может быть не совсем в тему, но эта нововведение было подписано президентом в день открытия этого топика. А именно:
On July 6, 2012, President Obama signed MAP-21 into law. This law is effective one year from the date of enactment. Under this new law, motor carriers are now required by law to hold a property broker license in addition to their motor carrier authority if they arrange for regulated for-hire interstate transportation.
The MAP-21 law specifically states:
SEC. 32915. ADDITIONAL MOTOR CARRIER REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS.
Section 13902, as amended by sections 32101 and 32107(a) of
this Act, is amended(1) in subsection (a)
(B) by adding at the end the following:
(6) SEPARATE REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
-A motor carrier may not broker transportation services unless the motor carrier has registered as a broker under this chapter;
Therefore, if you are a motor carrier that arranges such transportation, you must IMMEDIATELY secure a broker license.
The new law requires that your broker license be issued under a second USDOT/MC Number

я уже читал об этом
и сразу переговорил со своим диспетчером
она давнишний брокер
надо всё равно покупать брокер лайсенс и иметь бонд деньги в виде изначального и стабильного фонда
и не маленькие
и платы изначальные за полный комплект регистрации , тож , не маленькие
надо бы подумать , как под одну территорию , взять несколько лайсенсов , от дилера до брокера
парковку
пару подьёмников
большего не скажу
самому интересно
