можете пойти в US ARMY на active duty.

AUSTIN TEXAS NAVAL RESERVES
------------------------------ ------------------------------ --------------------
Reply to: job-183523456@craigslist.org

NON PRIOR SERVICE BASIC (NPSB) PROGRAM
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Non Prior Service Basic (NPSB) program allows the enlistment of non-prior service personnel into the Naval Reserve to fill critical ratings. Personnel will be enlisted at the permanent pay grade of E-1, or E-2/E-3 with college. Applicants must show a desire during a personal interview to work in the field requested and have the ability to achieve success in that field as evidenced by the ASVAB or civilian employment.
The NPSB program requires an eight-week boot camp followed by trade school. Upon completion of school applicants are then returned to the local Reserve Center and become a drilling reservist. Reservists normally spend one weekend per month in training sessions at Naval Reserve locations
plus 12 to 17 days per year in Annual Training (AT).
WHAT RESERVISTS DO
Navy Reservists work and train in their chosen career fields. Reservists may select from many different Navy ratings (job titles) to work and train in such as Medical, Police, Construction, Information Technology, (т.е. эта возможность будет закрыта для меня из-за отсутствия допуска к секретам?)Storekeeper, Personnelman, Yeoman, Boatswains Mate, Hull Technician and many more! Normally about one-half of their time is spend in general training and other activities, and the other half working and training in their rate.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants for the NPSB program must:
· Must be non-prior service (less than 180 days).
· Must be at least 17 and not having reached 38th birthday.
· Must be high school senior, high school graduate or exceptional applicants with a GED.
· Have an Armed Forces Qualification Test Score of 50 or above, possible waivers for certain fields.
· Qualify physically and meet height and weight requirements.
· Meet all dependency requirements. Unmarried applicants with dependents are eligible and do not have to transfer custody for eligibility.
SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
Navy Reservists attend paid training with their units one weekend per month and two weeks during the year for a six-year period. Two years of contractual obligation in the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) follows the six years of active participation.
ADVANCED PAYGRADE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants who enlist in the program are assigned the permanent pay grade of E-1 but may be eligible for advancement to pay-grades E-2 or E-3 based on college attended. Applicants that have attended 24 credit hours may be eligible for E-2 and those attending 48 credit hours may be eligible for E-3.
BENEFITS
Navy Reservists receive excellent benefits such as:
· Lump-Sum Enlistment Bonus up to $20,000.00
· The pride that comes from serving your country while growing personally and professionally
· Great pay for weekend training and annual training
· A chance to learn an additional craft or skill or just sharpen your present one for civilian life
· Montgomery G.I. Bill benefits covering college and vocational training for those who qualify
· Regular promotions based on individual skills & merit
· Veterans Administration home loan guarantees
· Low-cost full-time life insurance
· Good networking opportunities with others for outside employment
· Retirement benefits and much more!
