Salary:
up to $100,000
The Web Programmer will be responsible for the development of scientific Web applications. The role requires understanding of modern, standards-based Graphic/Web design, DOM programming, object-oriented JavaScript.
Practical experience with HTML handcoding is highly appreciated.
The end client is a large reputed scientific organization based out of Bethesda, MD.
Requirements:
• XHTML, HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript
• BA or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Statistics/math/life sciences
• Real demonstrated hands-on experience and abilities in above skills
• C/C++ proficiency
• XSLT experience on advance level
• Experience with any Web application framework
• Experience designing/building any application framework
Bioinformatics experience is a plus
• Database experience is appreciated
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
