Nizhe opisanie pozicii:
Duties Required for Skokie/Lisle Office Support
• Contractor will report to Senior Manager of Engineering Support Services- Vishal Saxena who is based out of our Santa Clara, California Office.
• Contractor will be responsible for providing Hardware & Software Support to approximately 35 users in the Skokie office and 35 users in our Lisle office. Support to the Lisle office will mainly be provided remotely, however travel to Lisle might be required occasionally.
• Contractor will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Skokie Data Center as well make sure that Servers are fully operational and that the backbone of the LAN is functioning. Skokie Data Center consists of approximately 3 Network Servers, 3 Development Productions Servers, Backup Tape Robot, Avaya Phone System, Phone System, approximately 6 switches, 2 routers and a CSU/DSU.
• Contractor will be responsible to be the first point of contact for any hardware related issues in the Skokie Data Center and for Skokie Developers. And will work closely with Hyperion’s Network & Communications staff located in Stamford, Connecticut and Santa Clara, California.
• Contractor will be required to provide support for the Skokie Engineering team. This will entail support to the Engineers as well as for the equipment in the Engineering and QE Labs.
• Contractor will be required to maintain the Video Conferencing Equipment.
Brief Description of Hyperion’s Network Environment:
• The Network Servers are running Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 Server.
• The Development Clear Case Servers are running Windows 2000 and the other Development Server is running Windows NT.
• All user systems are on a Windows 2000 Environment with Office 2003.
• Hyperion uses Outlook 2003 for email.
• Cisco Routers and Switches in the Skokie Data Center.
• All user work off of IBM T30, T40 and T42 laptops. We still have some IBM T-20’s and T-21’s in our Lisle office. Desktops are also from IBM.
• Development Lab and QE lab equipment vary between IBM desktops and Dell desktops.
