Спасибо всем большое за ответы! Исходя из ответов я поняла, что надо было сообщать раньше. А сейчас, когда дело уже открыто, это будет проблемно?! Ладно, наверное, безвыходных ситуаций не бывает))

Ну вот примерно ответ на Ваш вопрос
Can I include my children if they were not originally part of the case?
If the visa for which you are applying allows derivative children, your unmarried children under the age of 21 may be added as derivative applicants after your interview has been scheduled. You must directly contact the embassy/consulate to request specific instructions. At the interview the added applicant(s) will be required to pay the same fees, and submit the same forms and supporting documents as the original applicant(s).

Вы же понимаете, что я имела в виду только то, что сказала, - проходить интервью вместе Конечно же, моя доча просто сидела рядом, когда мне задавали вопросы.
А на медкомиссии детям делают манту и показывают педиатру. Видела там мамочек с детьми до года.
Взрослым же нужно будет там сделать рентген, сдать кровь, поставить недостающие прививки (при необходимости) и пройти терапевта. Всего то делов... Но у нас это заняло почти 5 часов с очередями. Почему-то я была уверена, что, кроме терапевта, будут и другие специалисты, но нет, только он

Пожалуйста, помогите советом! Кто такой агент? В форме ds-261 в разделе об агенте никого не указали. Теперь вижу, что этот вопрос постоянно поднимается, наверное это очень важно?

Агент это ток кому Вы доверяете, родственник в сша или лоер, в NVC вы даете его адрес мыло, что бы они вели с ним переписку

Агент - это человек, который будет получать почту (любую), касающуюся вашего кейса.
Это может быть адвокат. У нас адвоката не было, мы указывали адрес и прочие контактные данные петиционера (у меня это была сестра). Раньше приходили бумажные документы, и важно было указать американский адрес, чтобы почта доходила быстрее, сейчас вроде все в электронном виде, так что это, возможно, не так актуально уже (мы отправляли еще старую форму choice of agent - DS-3032 - это было еще в 2010 году) ))
Да, и еще агент оплачивает фи )):

As the applicant, you may choose to have all correspondence sent to you. Alternatively, you may register your petitioner, a family member or friend, an attorney or other immigrant assistance professional, or anyone else you trust to receive your correspondence from the NVC. The NVC strongly recommends that you register someone with email capability or a postal mail address in the United States because postal service can be unreliable in some parts of the world. As email is the preferred method of communication, if you provide an email address for your agent of choice, all future correspondence will be sent by email and not letter mail.

You must notify the NVC of your choice of agent by completing Form DS-261, Online Choice of Address and Agent.

Adjustment of Status
If you are physically present in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status with USCIS, then your case will not be processed by the NVC. (You will not apply for an immigrant visa.) Do not pay any fees or submit any forms to the NVC. Notify the NVC by email or mail as soon as you decide to pursue adjustment of status.

Агента в форме 261 нужно указать, им можете быть Вы или Американская сторона, через агента решаются все вопросы об оплате и пересылки нужных доков!
Проще что бы была Американска сторона АГЕНТОМ, заморочка в том, что все доки все равно слать Вам к родным а они уже в NVC, так как из России они не принимают основные доки в электронном виде) только почта!
Выбирайте как Вам проще и по оплате и по докам!)

Приглашение будет по электронке, но первоначальный пакет документов вы пришлете в NVC в бумажном виде, по почте.
Мы отправляли FedEx-ом в США сестре, затем она дополнила пакет своими документами и отправила в NVC.

Не могли бы уточнить, оригиналы каких документов Вы отсылали? Св-ва о рождении и браке или еще что-то, просто мне на форуме встречалась информация о военном билете(может это касается тех у кого призывной возраст)?

В NVC нужно будет отсылать те что они запросят, как правило это афидавит, свидетельство о рождении, о браке и тд.

Для мужчин старше 18-ти лет и для женщин, проходивших службу в армии: военный билет (оригинал, ксерокопия и перевод на английский язык)

Вот список всего что нужно принести в посольство, если Вы не отсылали это в NVC
DOCUMENT LIST:
(Should be prepared for EACH family member immigrating with you if not previously submitted to the National Visa Center.)
1. Biographical DS-260,* must be

2. Travel passport: original and a photocopy of the information page with the photo. The passport
should be valid for at least 60 days beyond the visa validity period. Typically, an immigrant visa is

5. For those previously married: Divorce certificate and/or death certificate for EACH previous

translation) from his or her country of current residence in ALL names (including maiden name) as well as with ALL dates of birth that he or she has used. A Russian police certificate must contain references to EACH place (subject to the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation) in which the applicant lives or has lived for more than six months since his or her 16th birthday or must indicate that the applicant’s name(s) has been checked against the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) central database. This includes localities where an applicant lived during university studies. If the applicant was serving in the military, he or she should bring the certificate from the local draft board. If an applicant has lived abroad for more than one year after the age of 16, a police certificate must also be submitted from that country. If an applicant is a national of another country and has lived in that country for over six months after the age of 16, he or she must obtain a police certificate from that country as well.
