Ну а как исче можно?А может ты шпион?так бы все тероры повалили к ним...

мне не совсем понятно - если хочу идти в пехоту - мне что тоже надо здавать все эти тесты по наукам и предметам?зачем например пехотинцу знание компьютера,или химии и физики?.Или может это для других так сказать специальностей?

Какие тесты/эkзамены нужно сдавать?

Прежде всего вам нужно будет сдать Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT), состояший из 4-х разделов:

-verbally ability;

-arithmetic reasoning;

-mathematical knollege;

-paragraph comprehencion;

-wold knowledge;

Затем нужно будет сдать Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), он будет включать те же разделы, что и AFCT, а именно:

Word Knowledge

General Science (GS) - 25 questions with an 11 minute time-limit.
Arithmetic Reasoning (AR) - 16 questions with a 36 minute time-limit.
Word Knowledge (WK) - 35 questions with an 11 minute time-limit.
Paragraph Comprehension (PC) - 15 questions with a 13 minute time-limit.
Auto & Shop (AS) - 25 questions with an 11 minute time-limit.
Mathematics Knowledge (MK) - 25 questions with a 24 minute time-limit.
Mechanical Comprehension (MC) - 25 questions with a 19 minute time-limit.
Electronics Information (EI) - 20 questions with a 9 minute time-limit.
Assembling Objects (AS) - 16 questions with a 9 minute time-limit.

ASVAB он один на всех. Точнее у всех один ASVAB. Точнее их много вариантов и они у всех (сам запутался )
ASVAB это экзамен со множеством вариантов вопросов, у всех он одинаковый. Другой вопрос, что у каждого свой "проходной балл" который необходимо набрать. Плюс внутри структуры на некоторые специальности требуется свое кол-во баллов.
Вообще этот тест не сложный (в армию всё таки идём ), онлайн вариант который я прошёл для пробы говорит о том что проходное кол-во баллов я набрал. У рекруитёра можете купить книженцию по подготовке и изучив ее проблем вообще не должно возникнуть.

Официально заявляю как лицо работающее в Department of Homeland Security (Immigration Department), что в Армии США могут служить не только граждане США или постоянные резиденты то бишь Green Card Holders как здесь утвержадалось, но и лица находящиеса в стране нелегально или полулегально, но это работает только в том случае когда страна находится в состоянии войны, а США сейчас находятся в состоянии войны и солдаты ей нужны. Так что желающие служить дяде Сэму, приезжайте в США, а если Вы уже здесь, то обращайтесь в ближайший Army Recruiting Center и Вас с удовольствием возьмут в армию США. Солдаты Америке нужны, тем более сейчас.

US Army wants to enlist illegal aliens quickly as recruitment falls

A senior US defense officials today urged the Congress to fast track a section of the stalled immigration bill that would allow the military to recruit illegal aliens, after recruitment figures released by Pentagon showed that the Army failed to reach its targets for May.
The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors, or DREAM, provision in the immigration bill was expected to help boost military recruiting by allowing illegal aliens to enlist as way to obtain citizenship, Bill Carr, acting deputy undersecretary of defense for military personnel policy, told a veterans’ group representatives.
“In other words, if you had come across (the border) with your parents, yet you were a minor child and have been in the U.S. school system for a number of years, then you could be eligible to enlist,” he said. “And at the end of that enlistment, then you would be eligible to become a citizen.”
Carr's remarks came as Defense Department figures showed that the Army only recruited 5,101 active-duty soldiers in May, 399 short of its 5,500-soldier goal. The Army National Guard fell 12 percent short of its goal while the Air National Guard numbers were 23 percent below the target.
Deployed troops reported during surveys that they are “a few percentage points” less inclined to re-enlist, but Carr said the “flat” overall retention picture suggests that current retention trends will continue, at least for the near term
That flat projection is expected to apply to recruiting, too, with no major shifts expected in the propensity of young people to join the military, he said.
This outlook isn’t as positive among influencers and parents, those adults who help young people make decisions about joining the military. Support among this group “continues to dwindle as the war progresses,” Carr said.
While President Bush returns to Washington to help revive the stalled immigration reform package, Carr said talk is already taking place to see if at least the DREAM provision of the stalled bill can proceed.
At this point, he said, “we are not sure if the Congress would be interested in resurrecting that segment of the bill.”

Хорошо, может я где-то и не прав, но нелегальных иммигрантов уже берут, не буду утверждать что из дальнего зарубежья, но из ближнего так точно и тем более, тех кто уже в стране какое-то время без документов, но это то что мы вот только недавно изучали, новые законы. Да, оффициальный источник приведу как можно скорее.
