It would be ideal if the documents which are going to be presented in support of the Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) application are the originals. There is no need to notarize the originals. If you are presenting copies they must be notarized.
The documents listed above may or may not satisfy the requirement of establishing “Credible proof of ties to [your home country] indicating that applicant will depart the United States at the end of the stay”*
