employment-based immigration and DV-2009 winner

Hello,
I’m DV-2009 winner from Belarus. Also, I passed all exam needed to work in the US as a Registered Nurse and I’m applying for employment-based immigration and hospital will be my sponsor for green card. I have contract with hospital already, visa screen certificate and hospital’s going to petition I-140 for me. The question is if I have to prove my financial situation anyway, such as affidavit or bank statement.

You mean your compensation is going to be low?

yes.I don't know if my employment as a nurse is enough to prove i can support myself

That is not really important. What is important if you compensation is going to be below the poverty level.

So,do you suggest anyway have affidavite or bank statement? In my contract the salary is 19,8$ per hour for orientation period.Is it enough? Did you have here cases when a person proved his financial situation only my job offer?

More than enough, if you are single. Then you do not need affidavit
